Welcome to Bristol Samba
Bristol Samba is a community-based samba band of drummers and dancers that plays energetic Brazilian-based music for celebrating and dancing.
Previously known as Bristol School of Samba, the band has been performing for over 20 years. Our Musical Director, Jon Hardeman, is passionate about Brazilian music and its African heritage, and also one of the UK's foremost tutors in the afro-Brazilian religious music of Candomblé.

As an organisation, Bristol Samba aims to promote, support and develop percussion-based music and related carnival arts; particularly in our local community.
